Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions guests actually ask us. Anything else — write to us on WhatsApp, we answer fast.
What is the difference between a small-group and a private tour?
A small-group tour is a shared departure — never more than 8 guests in total (4 on the Northern Lights hunt). A private tour is your party only, no other travellers, with the same start time and route.
Why is the minimum 2 people?
Prices are per person with a minimum of 2 — that is what makes departures viable for groups this small. Travelling solo? Book the private option, or write to us on WhatsApp: if a group is already forming on your date, we will gladly add you.
Where do you pick me up?
Anywhere in Rovaniemi — not just hotels: we collect you from wherever you are staying, within roughly 8–10 km of the centre, and bring you back after the tour. Staying further out? Write to us before booking — pickup outside this area is usually possible by prior arrangement.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes — cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start, with a full refund.
How do I pay, and will I get a confirmation?
You book directly on our site through the secure Bokun checkout; payments are processed by Stripe, so we never see your card. A confirmation email arrives automatically right after payment.
What languages do the guides speak?
English, Russian and Ukrainian on most tours. The Husky & Snowman World day runs in English.
Can I bring children?
Yes — our Santa and husky days are family tours by design. The one limit: the Northern Lights hunt is not suitable for children under 5.
Are the tours wheelchair-accessible?
No, unfortunately — our vehicles are not adapted for wheelchairs.
What age counts as a child ticket?
A child ticket is 0–12. From 13 the adult ticket applies. You see this next to each ticket in the booking form. On the husky day, Santa’s gift is for every child up to 12.
